Tonbridge River Excursions and More!
Launched in April 2015. A new, green, electric powered boat available for a sedate guided river cruises on the River Medway in Tonbridge Kent. April 2015 also saw the return of rowing boats for hire. Both the river trips and the rowing boats will be available from the Big Bridge during our operational season (see dates below)
The electric launch “Enid May” will run trips in the Tonbridge area and is the ideal platform for photographing the area and the wildlife. The boat will seat up to 12 passengers comfortably and is safe for kids. Why not enjoy a relaxing 50 minute river trip or book for a private “voyage” either way you get close to nature and can glean some area history from the skipper before finally returning to your starting point by the castle.
2025
The plan for 2025 is to continue running river trips, wildlife experiences, and rowing boat hire, we’ll stick to what we know. We prefer that all trips are pre-booked (Wildlife experiences must be pre booked), this is easy with our proven online booking system, however, we can still accept some spontaneous walk-ins if space allows.
Booking for 2025 trips is now open – If you are unable to book online, email or call us and we will assist in making a booking for you.
Unfortunately the rise in the cost of everything means we are having to increase our prices for the first time since 2015.
Rowing boats – will remain a turn up and go service, if they are busy, we will take your number, you can then go for a walk or coffee, we’ll call you when your boat is ready.
