Access Statement
This access statement isn’t a personal statement about our suitability for guests with access needs. Instead, it describes the facilities and services we offer to all visitors.
Access:
The boat is moored to a concrete mooring accessed via a flight of steps with side rail. You can request a wheelchair-accessible mooring at the castle.
To board the boat, step over the side (height varies with the river level) and take 2 steps down inside. A handrail is available for support.
If you have any queries or require any assistance please contact us.
Staff will aid customers when requested and where possible.
See picture below and below that are larger individual pictures.
Facilities:
Tonbridge River Trips is located on the High Street. There are toilets and refreshments nearby.
Attraction:
Once on the tour a commentary is given by the skipper. Passengers who have hearing or sight difficulties are advised to sit near the skipper. This allows them to receive descriptions of the area. Large print guides are available upon request.
Carers travel free.
All (well-behaved) dogs are welcome.
