The 2025 program ready except for Down River Experiences

As the light fills the sky and the sun rises, we’ll cruise up the river. We’ll listen to the dawn chorus and spot some birds. Usually, we hear about 25 different species. An ecologist will identify the calls and talk about what we see or hear.

Take a relaxing cruise down the river. We’ll go through 2 locks and back. An ecologist will share insights about the birds we see and hear. We might spot turtle doves, kingfishers, yellow hammers, or barn owls. But remember, we can’t guarantee any wildlife sightings.

As the sun sets, we will quietly cruise upstream. We might see and hear up to 6 different bat species. An ecologist will share information about bats and help with identification. Bat detectors will be provided.e go, bat detectors are provided.

All Experiences are planned around 2 hours on the boat with an ecologist providing recognition and information on the wildlife and fauna we see and hear. See home page for prices

All trips are subject to cancellation, possibly at short notice, if the weather is likely to mean a lack of wildlife. we will rearrange the experience. However, we can’t promise a suitable alternative for everyone. If that happens, we will give a full refund or a gift card for the full amount.

Payment will be taken by card during the online booking – note if a trip is cancelled full refunds or gift cards are provided if a suitable alternative is not found.

Dogs are welcome on our trips, but we don’t allow them on wildlife experiences. This helps us manage space and protect the wildlife.
